Was the devil an angel ?

In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.

18:50 Worship the angels and Adam! Remember, it's our time! They immediately prostrated themselves, and the command came from their Lord that Iblis was the only Sikh.” He was one of the jinn who disobeyed his Lord's command

The word "Iblis" إِبْلِيس comes from the etymology of "بَلَس" بَلَسَ which means "despairing" and means "desperate".
18:50 Worship the angels and Adam! Remember, it's our time! They immediately bowed down, and Iblis was the only Sikar Kejin. A command came from your Lord.

"It was from the Jinn" is underlined. The word "jinni" جِنِّيّ comes from the etymology of "jinn" جَنَّ meaning "hidden" and "hidden" means "hidden" and "jinn" جِنّ is the plural of Jinni. Iblis is originally from Jinn.
Imam Muslim Book 55, Hadith 78
Aishah "RA" Narrated: The Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: "The angels were created from light, the soul was created from flame, and Adam was created from clay as it has been revealed to you. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

"Jan" جَانّ like "man" is a generic name for jinn, angels and jan using the suffix "w" وَ meaning "and" clearly shows that angels and jinn are two different beings. If we go this far, the missionaries argue that "Iblis was an angel" with this verse:
17:61 Remember when we told the angels to "worship Adam"! Immediately they prostrated themselves, and Iblis only Siqer. And we prostrated ourselves to the angels, and Adam prostrated himself, except Iblis

To begin with, the addition of "b" to the suffix "angels" can never be evidence that Allah says "prostrate" "only for angels". Let's challenge this with a similar argument:
7:79 "B"-They have hearts, but they do not understand, "B"-They have eyes, but they do not hear, "B"-They have ears, but they do not hear. Their hearts lest they blind, and their eyes lest they blind, and their souls lest they hear مَعُونَ بِهَا

In the context, "they" are those who are said to be "rather, they are very wrong, those are the forgetful ones". As we say, Allah says "prostration" not only to angels but also to Iblis:
7:12 Allah said: "What prevented you from prostrating when I commanded you?" He said, "What prevented you from doing so?" d when I commanded you

What Allah said is not "what prevented you from prostrating when I commanded you" but "what prevented you from prostrating when I commanded you". "He came out of the command of his Lord" clearly shows that it is not only the angels who were ordered to prostrate themselves.
18:50 And the order of the Lord came out. So he disobeyed the command of his Lord

When he continues, in the verse "And the angels prostrate before Adam! Remember what happened when we told them! Prostrate immediately, when only Iblis was left." The word "Istisna" اِسْتِثْنَاء‏ comes from the etymology of "Istesna" اِسْتَثْنَى and means "exception", and Istisna is divided into two. It means:
43:67 Friends, it is dark for some of them on this day. Only the fruits of Allah "remember"

In this verse, "Ila" إِلَّا is Isti-naul Mu'tazil, so it shows the same ancient nature, some of them are enemies to each other and those who fear Allah have the same ancient nature. You can also see this quote:
103:2 Everyone is truly in bankruptcy. إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ
103:3 Only those who believe this and do good deeds, who are truly encouraged, who are encouraged by the truth, "bear with them. Except those who believe and do good deeds and rely on the truth and rely on patience

The second one is "Istisnaul Munqatie" اِسْتِثْنَاء‏ الْمُنقَطِع and "مُنقَطِع" مُنقَطِع means "detached".
26:77 «They are my enemies, but the Lord of the worlds "suffers"». فَإِنَّهُمْ عَدُوٌّ لِّي إِلَّا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ

Just like Ibrahim who says "they are my enemies" and "the Lord of the worlds" who says "Siqarah" are two different words, in the same grammatical structure, "angels" and "Iblis" are two different words. Let's look at another verse:
17:67 When you are injured in the sea, all that you do is lost, He (Allah) "seeks" And if you seek harm in the sea, it is wrong for you to seek except O Allah

When the idolaters find harm in the sea, the idols they call upon are the works of human hands, and they perish, but Allah is the living creator, so he will not perish. Therefore, if we understand that it is wrong to say that "it is one category" without looking at the context and the general meaning of "besides", it is wrong to include Iblis in the ancient nature of angels because there is "besides". .
The fact that Iblis is from the jinn and not from the angels is narrated by Ibn Jarir according to Hasan al-Basri, and it is a Sahih in its Isnaad. Ibnu Kasir then said in his commentary that Ad-Dahak, Saeed Ibn Jabir, Ibn Ishaq, etc. said that "Iblis was an angel" is a narration from Israel:
Tafseerul Ibn Kasir 18:50
"Hasan al-Basri said: "Iblis is not one of the angels, not even for a moment. Just like Adam Just as Iblis is the root of man, so is Iblis the root of jinn. رواه بن جرير بسيناد صحيح
Tafseerul Ibn Kasir 18:50
In fact, in this Riwayah, most of the reports narrated from the predecessors are considered to be from Israel." Many traces of this have been narrated on the authority of the predecessors, most of which are Israeli women who have been quoted for consideration.

Not only are angels made of material, but their characteristics are also different. Angels have no gender.
43:19 "The angels have made themselves female servants of the Most Gracious. Were they creating? Their testimony is certainly worthwhile. Let them be asked. And He made the angels who are the servants of the Beneficent Allah a testimony to their creation ْتَبُ their testimony and their questions
37:150 Or did We create ourselves? أَمْ خَلَقْنَا الْمَلَائِكَةَ إِنَاثًا وَهُمْ شَاهِدُونَ

If there were women among the angels, he would not have objected to the Quraish's saying: "Angels are women." Allah did not create angels as women. But the jinn have sex, they are born male and female because they have species:
18:50 "Will you not make him and his descendants helpers against me when they are your enemies?
72:6 Behold, "the brothers who were accusers were clinging to the brothers of the devil. They added pride. And they are males from among men who seek males from among the jinn
Sunan Ibn Majah Book 1, Hadith 312
Zayd ibn Arqam narrated that the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “Dirty places are surrounded by devils. Zayd ibn Arqam said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: So let one of you enter, and Allah says to them, I seek refuge in you from the wicked and the wicked.
