The Virtues of Masjid al-Aqsa, the Sacred Compound and what surrounds it

About the Book

Description from the Publisher:

What follows is a partial translation of a collection of narrations on the virtues of the Holy Land by Shaykh Ḍiyāʼ al-Dīn al-Maqdisī Collections such as these were made to increase the love in the hearts of the believers for sacred places and times, as well as righteous actions. This particular one was compiled in the period shortly after the liberation of al-Quds under Sultan Ṣalāḥ al-Dīn. Those who wish to do so may hold gatherings in their homes or communities reading the text and asking Allāh to alleviate the suffering of our brothers. and sisters and give them victory against their oppressors. This is the intent behind making this work accessible. Ultimately, this represents a timeless tradition of the Muslims where they would gather to read collections of ḥadīth as a means of seeking Allāh's aid in the face of hardship and victory in the face of oppression. We pray that this simple effort is a means by which that beautiful tradition is continued.

About the Author

The Imām, Ḍiyāʼ al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wāḥid al-Maqdisī, was born in 569 AH and died in 643 AH. He was part of the famous Maqdisī family which was filled with scholars and pious people. His father was Shaykh ʿAbd al-Wāḥid, a formidable scholar and righteous person. He, the father, had two daughters and three sons, all of whom became scholars. His mother was Ruqayyah bint Shaykh Ahmad. She was the sister of the two great and well-known scholars, Muwaffaq al-Dīn ibn al-Qudāmah and Abū ʿUmar. These latter two visited the great Shaykh ʿAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī at the end of his life and took spiritual guidance from him. They are part of the connection of ʿAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī to the movement against the crusaders that liberated Palestine under the leadership of Sultan Ṣalāḥ al-Dīn al-Ayyūbī. In fact, Ṣalāḥ al-Dīn had a regular litany of prayers that he received through Shaykh ʿAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī that he maintained during his life and which he passed down to his children. This is the spirit of true tasawwuf. Shaykh Ḍiyāʼ al-Dīn's aforementioned mother was known for her scholarship and piety. She would command the people to good and forbid them from evil and was known for being a mediator for disputes among the people. She would teach ḥadīth based on her ijāzah from Shaykh Ibn al-Battī and the great scholar al-Munḏirī took ḥadīth from her. She was known for her knowledge of the history of her family and her son narrated that from her and wrote a biography about her. Shaykh Ḍiyāʼ al-Dīn's wife was Āsiyah bint al-Shihāb. She was a ḥāfiẓah of the Qur'ān and a narrator of ḥadīth and was known for her piety. Shaykh Ḍiyāʼ al-Dīn and his family were also part of the armies that liberated Palestine from the Crusaders. Sultan Ṣalāḥ al-Dīn held the family in high regard and would keep them together in one tent and seek their counsel on affairs.

It deserves attention!

#10_Points_that_distract_Islam_or_take_us_out_of_Islam

In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

Let's find out that there are ten who destroy Islam!

①/ The first: To associate partners with Allah in worship: Allah the Exalted says:

{Allah never forgives associating partners with Him. He forgives what is other than this (sin) to whomever He wills.

He says so
{...Here! He who shares in Allah, Allah has surely made paradise for him. And its abode is fire. And the wrongdoers have no helpers.} (Al-Ma'idah 72)

Slaughter for another body is also included here.
It means like slaughtering for demons or burial.

②/ Second: There is ijma' (full agreement) for the one who intercedes between him and Allah, who intercedes for them, who intercedes for them, and who makes a mediator between him and Allah.

③/Third: If he does not confirm the disbelief of the partners, or if he doubts that they are disbelievers, or if their path is correct, he has become a disbeliever.

④/Fourth: Whoever believes that the guidance of any body is more complete than the guidance of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم), or believes that the laws of another body are better than his laws (the type of person who prefers man-made laws to his laws is a kafir).

⑤/Fifth: If the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) brought him (guidance), he is a disbeliever even if he does something that he hates.

        (Allah is Great and Wise)

May Allah protect us, Wollahi is very scary, we should all test our faith.
Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) tells us in Surah Tehrim verse 6:
↠ O you who believe! Protect your souls and your families from a fire whose kindling is people and stones. There are cruel, powerful angels on her. They do not rebel against what Allah has commanded them. And they do all that they are commanded.

Yes! In order to save our souls and our families from this fire, we must beautify our behavior and consciously avoid things that take us away from our Islam. So let's pay more attention to it than any other topic.

I have made it short so that you can take it seriously and memorize it. We will also have a reward question, Insha Allah.

Part two

Worth paying attention to!

⑥/ Sixth: He denied the religion of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) in any way, or the reward of Allah, or the punishment. The proof is the following word of Allah:
Say to them, "What did you say about the messenger?" (65) Do not excuse him; After your faith, he will indeed deny you....} (At-Tawbah 65-66)

⑦/Seventh: Spells - love spells are classified here. - Either the one who did it or the one who liked it has become a kafir. And the evidence is the next word of Allah: {They do not teach anything until they say: "We are the test taker, so do not deny."} (Al-Baqarah 102)

⑧/Eighth: Aiding and abetting agharis against Muslims. The proof is the next word of Allah:
He is one of them. Allah does not guide the rebellious people.} (Al-Ma'idah 51)

⑨/ Ninth: He is a disbeliever who believes that some people can depart from the Sharia of Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم), just as Khadir departed from the Sharia of Moses (صلى الله عليه وسلم).

⑩/Ten: One who has turned his back on the religion of Allah, not to teach it, but to practice it. The evidence is the following word of Allah: {Who is more guilty than a person who is reprimanded by the verses of his Lord and then abandons them? (None); We are among the mischievous avengers.} (Sajdah 22)

(Allah is Most High, Most Wise)

There is no difference between these miscreants, whether they are funny or sad or scared. Unless forced. All of them are potentially dangerous and often happen. A Muslim should be careful and take care of himself.
We are protected by Allah from what causes His wrath and punishes us.
May Allah's blessings be upon the best of creation, their families and companions.
