If we have seen this much about Sayyiduna Bilal's country and parents, today let's talk about his generation.
Generation of Bilal Ibn Rabah
As it is known and as I have mentioned in the previous articles, Bilal's life after Islam has been widely explored, but his life and life before his conversion is a little bit of history. And we notice many conversations about Bilal's birth date. But all narrations agree that Bilal was born after Amel_fil (the year of the elephant). The problem is that some say it is the third year after the year of the elephant and the year Abu Bakr As Siddique was born, while some say it is the seventh year and others say it is the tenth year after the year of his death, i.e. 20 AD. They start counting backwards. But the fact is that in two famous history books named Asadul_Gaba and Hiltul_Awliya, they stated that they were the same age as Abu Bakr, so the later scholars confirmed that they were born three years after the year of the elephant. Another issue is where they were born. According to rumors, Hijaz, Egypt, Mecca, Sham and Ethiopia are the places where they were born. However, Siyar_Ilam_an_Nubala', Asadul_Gaba, Atharkatul_Kubra and other reliable records have written together that Bilal was born in a place called Surat between Yemen and Ta'if to his parents from Habasha. Sayyiduna Bilal has no other brother or sister except their brother named Khalid. Even Khalid's information is strong, but there are people who claim that they have information that disproves his brotherhood. But those who confirm that Khalid is their brother, when Khalid married a wife, they act as an elder and do the information that Bilal said in his presence. All the ulama accepted it except a few. I will say goodbye to what Bilal said to the woman's family as an elder brother. They make information. All the ulama accepted it except a few. I will say goodbye to what Bilal said to the woman's family as an elder brother. They make information. All the ulama accepted it except a few. I will say goodbye to what Bilal said to the woman's family as an elder brother.
Seyyed and Bilal Ibn Rabah said: (Have you ever known us? My brother Khalid and I were slaves. Allah freed us. We were crooked. Allah guided us to the straight path. We were poor. Allah made us prosperous. Here, I ask you to marry your daughter to my brother. If you allow the marriage, we say Alhamdulillah. we say)
In the last three episodes of the series, we have seen some of the prehistory of Seyyeduna Bilal. Today we get into the main story. And we look at Bilal's journey to freedom.
Bilal_Meslem
The great scholar Ibn Ishakir reported the process of Bilal's meditation. The story reads like this.
As you know, the child of a slave is a slave according to the international law of that time. And Bin Ishakir Bilal is of the opinion that he was born in Makkah. And his parents lived as members of one of the tribes he was educated in, and by some chance they were enslaved by #Abdullah_Bin_Jadaan. At that time, Abdullah was one of the nobles and wealthy people of Mecca, so they had a hundred slaves born in Mecca. Because of the total number of slaves they had, they did not recognize all of their slaves by appearance. So, when our Prophet ï·º began to call after the revelation, Abdullah ordered his closest people to make all my Meccan-born slaves leave Mecca. That man drove them all out and left #Bilal alone in Makkah. Because he was the only one who knew the number and variety of Abdullah bin Jadaan's sheep and goats and took them to pasture. So, one day, while they were tending goats near Bilal Cave, the Prophet ï·º popped their heads out of the cave and asked them: He replied politely, "I have nothing except the goat that I am milking, and I will bring her to you if you want." And the Messenger ï·º said {#امِت}, and they made supplications, filled them with things, and drank until they had had enough. Then they milked again and gave them to Bilal, who drank until he had enough, and the goat returned with milk, which she had not had before. When they finished, the Messenger ï·º called them saying { #سلم_آلام_من_تاسباله} and they accepted Islam despite him. She sent him away, explaining that they should hide their Islam and if they don't, their captors will punish them. When Bilal returned home, the owners of the goats were impressed by the milk bounty of the goats and advised Bilal to go there if you come across them today. Bilal went to the Prophet ï·º for three consecutive days and learned. Many people were surprised that the goats' milk was increasing day by day.
On the fourth day, Abu Jahl was passing by Abdullah's family and asked them (how come your goats are churning their milk and what is the secret behind that) and they said (oh we don't understand, we have been seeing this for three days). Then Abu Jahl said to him (This black slave of yours knows the place of that Prophet, so forbid him from going there). Then the family forbade him to go there.
In the last episode, we saw how Bilal was killed and his relationship with our Prophet ï·º was suspected by Abu Jahl and he was forbidden to go to that pasture. Here is the next one.
Accusation of Bilal Ibn Rabah
Allah's Messenger ï·º entered Makkah after a few days and started his da'wah at Arqam's house known as #Darul_Arqam. Even though their heart's desire is to meet the Prophet ï·º, because they suspect that they will be spied on and because the advice of the Prophet ï·º to hide your Islam prevailed over them, they stopped going near that cave and are watching closely what will happen.
So one day Sayyiduna and Bilal went to the Kaaba. They went to the gods who were gathered and swallowed up in darkness. They looked around and noticed that there was no one there. Because there was nothing they saw, they went directly to the gods and spat on them, saying, ``They will not rule you out of the wicked and destitute.'' At that time, an idol leaned forward and pretended to be an idol. When a polytheist who was watching their work came out shouting, Bilal panicked and ran and went into the house of Abdullah Bin Jeddaan and hid.
That polytheist explained it to Abu Jahl. Abu Jahl came to Abdullah's house with his shields and summoned Abdullah bin Jadaan and asked [How did you change your religion? ] They asked Abdullah, ``Now, is a person like me who drives a hundred camels like me? What happened to you? And they told Bilal all that he had done. He searched for them in the house and found them, but he did not know them. > he argued and the man emphasized Bilal's absence with evidence. At that time, Abdullah Bin Jadaan handed over Bilal to Umayya Ibn Khalaf, a member of the tribe of Bani Jumah who was one of those who came with Abu Jahl, and the ruler of Quraysh. Umayyad killed Bilal and took them with him.
